Welcome to the Traverse Area Human Resource Association


In our profession of complex workplace issues, rapid social change, and federal and state regulations, it is challenging to maintain top performance as a Human Resources professional. By joining TAHRA you will have access to a wealth of information and programs that can broaden your skills and make you more valuable to your organization.

The main benefits of joining TAHRA include: monthly programming, peer exchange, networking, and professional development opportunities. The TAHRA membership meets regularly September through June, and speakers are brought in on a regular basis to present a wide range of up-to-date and relevant topics. 

In addition, as a member of TAHRA you have access to an extensive network of resources and individuals, as well as study groups for the HR certification test. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and organizations. There are three types of members: vendors, professionals, and students.
