    Experienced trial lawyer and partner at the law firm Foley & Mansfield, PLLP, Gregory M. Meihn, will present a hands-on seminar on the topic “Do’s And Don’ts of Hiring, Promoting, Disciplining, and Firing” in Michigan. The presentation will provide participants with specific guidelines and checklists to consider during each stage of the process. Participants will receive handouts containing the specific guidelines and checklists to consider along with examples of how the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, EEOC, the U.S. Department of Labor, Michigan Wage and Hour, National Labor Relations Board, and State and Federal Courts have ruled on important cases affecting the way employers hire, promote, discipline and fire. Additionally, the presentation will include role playing and a question and answer period at the end.
