    Have you ever been faced with an employee that seeks you out for advice on finances or even worse, how to avoid homelessness? For many of us our first thought is “this is Traverse City, I didn’t know this is a problem in our area”. Many in our area live pay day to pay day and are one or two pay checks from being homeless. This is a tough topic that few HR professionals are equipped to address. The good news is that this community has a number of organizations that can assist us with the much needed guidance.
